getting around

Getting to Helsinki City Centre from airport is easiest done with train, which will take you from the airport straight to Central Railway Station, Rautatientori. You can buy tickets from the machine at the train station.

Getting around Helsinki is easy as the distances are short and you can easily walk to most places. The public transport works well too and there is an app called HSL which will give you all the info on how to get from A to B by using public transport. It also found online, in English too, here.

Salsa Festival will take place on Easter, when both Friday and Sunday will be a public holiday, as well as the following Monday. Lot of shops etc will be closed especially on Friday, but you can find 24/7 convenient stores from both Kamppi and Rautatientori.
